 & Off-page  in Layman Language means Distributing your websites URL over web ,  which can be done  by either of Following ways  , Directory Submissions , Article Submissions , Classified Postings, Yellow Page Postings, Geo Targeting, Blog Creation , Blog Posting, Comment Posting, Viral Marketing, E mail Marketing, Social Media Optimization, RSS, Syndicate your Blogs.

And If I have to put the same in 1 line , It would be ... any which ways links are coming back to our Site is called as Off page Promotion or Link Spreading Over Internet.

Many tools are used , Studies are done to Manage Sites Traffic and Promote it on Organic Results in Beautiful Manner.

If i have to put it in layman Language it would be , Get the  fresh content as content is the King on Internet.Float the URL of website on Internet and see the magic of SEO.
